Postcard exchange

Well I've begun some postcards for an art exchange the Dublin Sketchers Group is involved in - here's stage one, some whitewash over existing postcard images - it's experimental, openended, don't know where it's going yet but hopefully I'll know when it's finished.

Wow! Interesting! must start my own postcard later in Kilkenny, hoping inspiration will be flowing!! Really like the splash of colour in the third postcard.

Sarah gave me a watercolour postcard size piece of card, which I hope will be my final one. They have them in Easons - the new Masters art brand - pretty cheap!

Nice work James. Very colourful. Your pictures of Sweden too are really wonderful, particularly the cabin n the woods. Pity you had to part with it. Such is the way.

Truth is tracey that the splash of colour is from a postcard advertising that spanish chaps work at IMMA it is one of those free postcards you get in cafes all I've done is obscured it a tad with acyrlic. Same with number one also, the white paint is obscuring a photo of the head of an oldish country gent. They've since been changed a lot more will post stage two shortly.
