A few of us who attend life drawing classes have some work on display at the Leopardstown Park Hospital - most of it is figurative done outside of the classes and some work has been taken from the life drawing sessions.
Anyway by in large a fairly traditional figurative type of open group exhibition nothing very avant garde but if anyone wants to come along to have a look the opening is on at 8pm this Fri the 16th and then from 10am to 6pm on Sat/Sun.
Directions from the M50 southbound - take the left exit 15 when you see the sign for leopardstown race course (look out for a jockey on a horse) over the motorway and then follow the first exit off the roundabout at the top of the off ramp.
Continue down long road with lots of slowdown ramps, past the big gym and racecourse complex till you arrive at the front gates of leoparstown R.Course then turn left onto main road and again when you come to the roundabout immediately after take the first exit and into the industrial estate past the security booth and then at the very first turn right you should see a sign for the hospital take this right and keep going till you see the hospital. Ask at reception for the exhibition.
In future if I hear of other exhibitions open to all - I will try to post the info. here.

These are the two charcoal drawings for the LPH exhibition. The one on the right is a bit skewed on account of the angle it was taken at - this was the one that I sold at the Leopardstown Park Exhibition- it's the same model for both pics but the one on the right is a lot friendlier looking so it made sense that it sold rather than the other. This was also my first sale from an exhibition so it's a bit special for me personally.
